The job behind the search
You have a PDF that needs work now. It has to be merged, made smaller for an upload form or turned into Word, perhaps on a phone. You would rather not create an account or type in a card number for that.
PulsarKit is made for this case: more than 200 free tools for files, right in the browser. They cover PDF, images, video, audio, text and conversion.
There is no sign-up, no subscription and no payment form. No tool is locked behind a plan, and results carry no watermark. The site works in English, Spanish, French, Russian, Portuguese, German, Indonesian, Hindi, Arabic and Chinese.
28 of 31 iLovePDF tools, checked on October 16, 2026
On October 16, 2026, we went through the PDF tools on the iLovePDF homepage. Of the 31 tools listed there (two more cards are workflows, not tools), 28 have a counterpart on PulsarKit. Both sites change over time, so read this as a count on one date.
For common PDF jobs, start with Merge PDF, Split PDF or Compress PDF. Merge PDF joins files in the order you set, and Split PDF cuts one file into page ranges. Compress PDF makes a file smaller and leaves its text, fonts and links as they were.
Around them sit the page tools: rotate, reorder, delete, crop, number and watermark pages. There are conversions between PDF and Word, Excel, PowerPoint and images. Protect, unlock, sign, edit, redact and compare are here too.
At that check, PulsarKit had no counterpart for Scan to PDF, AI Summarizer or Translate PDF. Here, “counterpart” means a tool for the same job, not identical features or limits.
What happens to your file
Most PulsarKit tools do the work inside your browser tab. The processing code runs on your device, so the file does not leave it. Nothing waits in a queue on our side.
Browser tools have no limit on the number of tasks, so run one as often as you need. Each tool states its technical limits on its page, such as the largest file it accepts. A browser tool works in your device's memory, so these limits differ from tool to tool.
A result does not need a trip through your downloads folder. Under it, a “What's next?” list offers the next tools, and the file goes straight into the one you pick. When both tools run in the browser, the file stays on your device.
Where the limits are
A few jobs need a server. Each server tool says so on its page before you add a file and states its technical limits.
The same caption names the size limit, the number of jobs per hour and when the file is deleted. PDF to Word is one of these tools.
There is no account, so there is no file history or cloud folder either. A result waits in the tab for up to an hour, so download it before you close the tab.
Unlock PDF removes an open password only when you know it; nothing tries to guess one. There is no app to install from a store, and PulsarKit does not connect to Google Drive or Dropbox. Files come from your device and go back to it. If you need a cloud drive link or one of the three missing tools, PulsarKit is not the right pick.
Where to start
With a stack of files, start with Merge PDF and set the order first. With one long document, Split PDF keeps only the pages you need.
To make a file smaller, Compress PDF offers three quality levels and a target size. For an upload form with a hard cap, Compress a PDF to 100 KB sets the target for you. If a file cannot get that small and stay readable, the page says so.
To edit the text, PDF to Word rebuilds the file as DOCX, DOC, ODT or RTF on our server. Scans without a text layer go through OCR first, so the result is text you can edit.
