How to Organize PDF
- 1
Add your PDF
Drop in a single document of up to 1,000 pages. It is opened by your browser and stays on your device.
- 2
Arrange the pages
Move pages into the order you want, turn a sideways page upright, duplicate a sheet you need twice, and remove the ones that should not be there.
- 3
Download the reorganized PDF
Save the rebuilt document. The original file on your disk is never modified.
One pass instead of split, merge and rotate
Fixing a document usually means three separate jobs: pull out the pages you want, glue them back together, then straighten the ones that came in sideways. Here the plan is one list of pages, and the file is built from it in a single pass. Move page twelve to the front, drop the duplicate cover, turn the scanned appendix upright, and save once. Pages are copied whole, so text stays selectable, images keep their compression, and every page keeps its own size.
Duplicates, deletions and rotation per page
A duplicated page becomes an independent copy, so rotating one of the two leaves the other alone, which is useful for separator sheets or a cover that has to appear again at the end. Rotation is remembered per page and adds to whatever angle the page already had. Deleting is just leaving a page out of the plan, and a plan with nothing left in it is refused rather than saved as an empty file.
The document never leaves your browser
Pages are read, previewed and reassembled on your own machine. There is no upload, no server-side copy and no clean-up job to trust. Close the tab and the file is gone from memory, which is what makes this usable for contracts, medical records and anything else you would rather not hand to a website.
Frequently asked questions
How do I swap two pages in a PDF?
Move the first page to the position of the second; everything in between shifts along. For a true swap, move the second page back to the slot the first one came from, then save the document.
Can I duplicate a page?
Yes. A duplicated page is copied as a separate object, so you can rotate or delete one copy without touching the other. Duplicates do add to the file size, since the page content is stored twice.
Is any quality lost when I reorder pages?
No. Pages are copied, never redrawn, so scanned images keep their exact pixels and text remains real text. A reordered document without duplicates comes out within a few percent of the original size.
How many pages can the organizer handle?
Up to 1,000 pages in one document. Beyond that, previews would use more memory than a browser tab can spare, so split the file first and organize each part on its own.
Does this work on a phone?
Yes. Tap pages to select them, then move them with Earlier and Later on the toolbar, which works the same with a finger as with a mouse; the previews adapt to a small screen. Very large documents are slower on a phone because there is less memory and processing power available.
How is this different from merge and split?
Merge joins separate files and split cuts one file into several. Organize works inside a single document: same file in, same file out, with the pages in a different order and some of them rotated or gone.
Can I undo a change?
Yes. Every move, rotation, duplicate and deletion can be stepped back with the Undo button at the top of the tool, up to fifty steps, and Undo all changes puts the document back the way it came in. Nothing is written to your disk until you press the download button.
Does the page size or orientation change?
Only if you rotate a page yourself. Each page keeps its own media box, so a document that mixes A4 text with a wide fold-out plan comes back with both pages at their original dimensions.
